Five street Nissan GT-R’s in a battle at the Buttonwillow Circuit

Today we ran into this awesome video, showing the five street Nissan GTR’s driving on the “Buttonwillow Circuit” in California. This is a movie from the Craig Lieberman production, who from time to time, get’s us the top notch movies that we all like to watch. The usual news about GTR include the talk between the supporters of the Nurburgring results, and the ones that say these results are not real. In this video, the 5 Nissan GTR’s are put to the test, the cars driven by normal drivers, who own these cars, not by professional racing car drivers in perfect conditions. Thanks to the guys over at the GTRBlog.com we can get you this nice video.

The author quoted:

“The Nissan GT-R clocks a 7:27.56 lap time at the Nurburgring. Yeah, yeah, yeah. With a super race car driver on a super track on a perfect day. What does it clock at a regular track with regular drivers? We wanted to find out. We gathered five nearly identical GTR’s and started the fastest guys at the back of the pack and figured this would make for some good racing. Boy, were we right. No one had a clear advantage. The cars were on very level playing ground, right down to the tires. The fastest driver had the most-stock car. The newest driver had the most modded car. Who would reign supreme? Find out.”

Nice video, but it would by even better if we could hear only the engine sounds, not the music in the background when they are racing it out there.

Yes that was the point, to test it by the people who really own this car, who are not racing drivers :)
