Gemballa present the Tornado 750GTS - stealthy, mean and fast

Today Gemballa released information about their concept car, the Gemballa 750GTS which in our opinion looks like a child born from the unholy marriage of a Porsche Cayenne and the big V8 from the Mad Max movies. Something that is so powerfull when you look at it, something that gets you goosebumps when you imagine it, that’s kinda what the Gemballa 750GTS is like. At the most, the Porsche SUV is the master model for the latest development by the automobile manufacturer from Leonberg near Stuttgart. As the Gemballa experts already told us, this was a way to make this SUV into a more of an uncompromising sports car. And yes. They’ve made it!

The weight of the car is reduced by 250kg in the start. The car uses a lot of carbon parts, to minimize weight and to improve weight distribution all over the cars body. The aerodynamics specialists extensively optimised the rear section. The rear skirt has been extended by 40 millimetres and for additional downthrust, a race diffuser has been added. A rear spoiler with carbon flaps perfects the aerodynamic overall package. When designing the body kit, Gemballa does not leave any doubt that the TORNAGO 750 GTS is a full-blooded sports car. In order to emphasise this claim, Gemballa adds designer characteristics which are typical for sports cars: Round double tail lights and four end pipes of the high performance exhaust system which have been integrated in the rear skirt, confirm the powerful appearance.

When they were asked why did they make a car like this, Gemballa answered quickly. Their response was that a lof of people asked them would they make a car, with the spacious interior of an SUV, a big 4-wheel drive monster with enough room to make long distance traveling easy, but which handled and performed like a real sports car on and off the track. Their response is here, a monster of a car with great looks, and even better performance. Gemballa Tornado GTS will be offered in a limited edition of 50 cars for a price from 400,000 euros.

It’s a car you got to be scared of when looking at it … but the looks are amazing anyway, and I would certainly buy it, if I had the money :)

Some people don’t agree with the statement that this car is pretty, maybe it isn’t bit it’s still big, powerfull, fast and awesome looking in any way. Driving this on the street will get you much attention anyway you look it here.
