Officially Released BMW X1 Photographs!
Thanks to the guys over at the BMWBlog.com we have a chance to see the first officially released photographs of the newest adition to the BMW’s product range! The car that rose a lot of different opinions. A car that was thought will overcrowd (the already crowded) BMW product range. A car that (in a lot of people’s opinions) didn’t have a right purpose. But a car that is here, that will make a big mark on the smaller SAV (Sport Activity Vehicle) market. Being compared to the smaller cars, like the Suzuki SX4, the Renault Koleos, Hyundai Tucson and other manufacturers smaller cars. This one really is what BMW stands for in any case. A really luxury version of a car that may or may not be, produced and shown by other manufacturers. And yes! We like it! The car really looks nice, it’s not really viewed in a way of a smaller X5 for example, but really stands out nicely by itself.
While we wait for the english press release by BMW, and the higher resolution photographs, we have prepared for you a series of some 42 photographs of the new car, for your viewing pleasure. As we find out from other sources, it is said that the car will be mainly powered by diesel engines, while the flagship in performance will be taken by the xDrive28i, a a petrol engine which outputs 258 horsepower and 228 lb-ft(310Nm) of torque at 2,600 rpm. While the power flagship will be the xDrive28i the fastest run to the 100km/h will be done by the xDrive23d which produces 204 horsepower and 295 lb-ft(400Nm) of torque at 2,000 rpm and gets from 0-100km/h or for our US readers, from 0-60mph in 7.3 seconds. Here are the photos, we will update you with the latest news and photographs as soon as they are released by the English press release department of BMW’s press division.
