Tuning Parts: AC Schnitzer presents new wheels for the BMW 5series GT

The paint on the fresh BMW 5series GT isn’t dry yet, but already custom tuning companies are putting modifications out. So the well known BMW tuner, which is somewhat controversial in parts of their product range, is offering some wheel upgrades for the newest addition to the BMW product range. While AC Schnitzer offers almost everything from body panels, carbon parts, interior upgrades, the thing we are interested here, is their wheel design. Some of the wheel design are well know from previous AC Schnitzer models, but some are new. And guess what? We can say that we really liked some of them, but trully hated the design of some of the wheels presented here.
The first of its type. It is the ideal combination of representative elegance of a saloon, the flexibility of an estate and the versatility of an SUV”, is how BMW introduced its latest vehicle creation – and rightly so. Although “Gran Turismo” cars have celebrated great successes in the past, the BMW 5-series GT has further refined and reinterpreted all Gran Turismo attributes. The result is a unique vehicle category. And naturally we are also devoting all our know-how to the development of a complete AC Schnitzer range for the new BMW 5-series GT which will cover all vehicle sectors. The range will include performance upgrades, sports rear silencers and tailpipes, suspension optimisation, aerodynamic components and accessories for the interior.
