BMW M5 Ring Taxi Video

The Nürburgring’s Nordschleife is widely regarded as the most spectacular, most challenging and longest race track in the world. Those who want to experience the “Green Hell” can do so by lapping the circuit in the passenger seat of the BMW Ring-Taxi, the powerful BMW M5. One of the drivers of this Ring Taxi is Sabine Schmitz, who came popular in the racing world thanks to this very thing. According to her own estimates, Sabine has gone around the track more than 20,000 times, increasing by approximately 1200 per year. Her familiarity with the circuit earned her the nicknames “Queen of the Nürburgring” and “the fastest taxi driver in the world”. She says her favourite parts of the track are Schwedenkreuz and Fuchsrohre. We bring you an awesome video by BMW TV which represents what driving around the Nürburgring’s Nordschleife gets to the regular driver and fan who wants to enjoy it.

One day, hopefully I'll get a chance to go to the Ring and get a ride in one of the Taxi BMW M5 there …

You are not the only one! I’m thinking of going there next year. If my finances will bear the burden of such a trip :)

You can say that more than one person is waiting, hoping and saving for this trip. Here in the states it’s very popular to go on the European Delivery (about which we talked about here on the site) and go on the Ring one of those days, so taking a ride in the Ring Taxi as one of the options.

Yeah, we can all say that almost everyone of us want’s to go there :)
