Michael Schumacher Mercedes-Benz SLS Commercial

Well sort to speak, the ink on the contract bringing the 7-time world Formula 1 champion to Mercedes-Benz isn’t dry yet, and he is already making commerials! The reincarnation of a racing legend, the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG is one of the most talked about road cars these days. The gull-winged supercar that is portrayed in this daring commercial, features the Formula 1 driver in his first TV debut for the Mercedes-benz company in of their cars.

While we surely don’t think that such a feat is possible, the commercial shows the race car driver, getting settled down in his car, starting, putting it in gear, and then letting it rip on a mountain road. While the part in the tunnel surely doesn’t look realistic, the whole video really puts the cars design, speed, elegance and sound in the right perspective. One car, that we think a lot of people would like to own and driver in their spare time. We would very much appreciate if you visited our Automotive Commercials part of the site, to check out what else we have brought to you.

Yeah, there he was, not only a few weeks in the Mercedes-Benz team and he already did a commercial for them :) . I wonder how much interest did Formula 1 have to get him back, in the same sense really …

That is the idea I was aiming for when writing this :)

It’s a nice commercial even if they made some special effects put in use there :)

Even though some may not like this overuse of Michael Schumacher as a driver and a person for commercial, this isn’t that bad … it’s actually quite nice :)

Finally, a Formula 1 season that will be interesting. And yeah, the commercial and the car are also interesting :P

I think Schumacher is a traitor. He was doing the same thing 6 months ago for Ferrari. A nice commercial yes, but Schuei needs to figure out what he wants to be when he grows up, and for whom he wants to work for.

That’s what profesionalism makes of people these days, only money and what is the best for the current employer is taken into account.

These days, ha! Juan M. Fangio did the same thing more than 50 years ago, 5 championships with 4 different teams, switching around is not new! plus Shummi started racing with Mercedez before F1.

…Is there another SLS commercial on air right now? Just the other day I saw a commercial for a winged-door auto, which began with lots of examples of wings/flight and ended with a rear view of the car with doors open. I’ve been searching online for it but can’t seem to find mention of it anywhere.

Do you please want to explain what are you reffering to? In my knowledge this is the only one SLS commercial out there, maybe there was something released after that, but I’m sure we would of heard of it by now then.
