Japanese Performance At It’s Best – The ISS Forged Lexus IS-F
I’ve talked to a couple of friends the other day, when the main object or theme of discussion were the sports cars of somewhat middle range. Both in performance, price and power. Naturally, out of a few people altogether, almost all of them immediately started talking about BMW M3′s, Mercedes-Benz AMG, Audi S models and it was getting a bit boring. Then one of them said “Wait a second, but what about Lexus?”. The first reaction from all of us (including me) was something like “What about Lexus?“. Then the conversation really got spicy and interesting.
Not to get too particular in representing our half drunk, half pointless conversation between our little community, we should get to the point. As BMW, Mercedes-Benz and Audi make excellent mid range sports cars with great performance, so does Lexus. Well from a couple of years ago. The one that we are talking about here, the “M3 killer” how some have called it, is the Lexus IS-F sports car. With it’s widebody, big air intakes, big brakes and those quad exhaust pipes in the back, it really feels and looks like a proper sports car. Yeah, the 5.0L V8 surely helps that feeling a bit more, but let’s not get too much into detail.
As we usually portray and publish sports cars in our articles, this one shall be no different. The fast and amazing Lexus IS-F is tuned and upgraded by ISS Forged with some brand new wheels, putting even more accent on the aggressive looks of the car here.
