A Big Bowl Of Perfection – White Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera Photoshoot By Webb Bland

Picture a perfect day. For some it may be with their loved ones, getting a cold beer, sitting by the beach admiring what cool looking that cloud over the horizon on this sunny day. For others it may be the day in which their sports team comes to a brilliant victory over their arch rivals. Well for people like is, it’s things like these! When I talked to the talented New Orleans based photographer, named Webb Bland he told me about this amazing photoshoot. He simply called it “A Big Bowl Of Perfection”. Suits it well? You’ll see soon enough.

Even though we had the amazing ISS Forged and Extreme Performance Lamborghini Gallardo by William Stern just two days ago, we thought it would be awesome to continue with Lamborghini shoots to the end of the week! Yeah, hopefully we can bring you a new Lambo shoot each day until monday here! So when we first laid eyes on this shoot, we we’re blown off by the photography featured in this shoot!

The Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera is probably the ultimate version of the Gallardo model coming from the factory. For those of you that aren’t that informed about italian nomenclature, the Superleggera stands for “Super Light” here. The car was launched at the 2007 Geneva Auto Show supposedly in preparation for the next Ferrari 430 Scuderia. The engine’s improved intake, exhaust and ECU added 10 PS (7 kW; 10 hp) for a total of 530 PS (390 kW; 523 hp). The 6-speed e-gear transmission, usually a US$ 10,000 option, now comes as a standard. A 6-speed manual gearbox was still offered as a no cost option.

The Superleggera is lighter than the base Gallardo by 100 kg (220 lb) from 1,430 kg (3,200 lb) via the use of carbon fibre panels for the rear diffuser, undertray, the rearview-mirror housings, the interior door panels, the central tunnel, engine cover; titanium wheel nuts, carbon fibre sports seats with Alcantara.

Some may be interested that during its production life, 172 were produced, with 10 in white, 34 in grey, 37 in black, 45 in yellow and 46 in orange. And 1 was coustom painted pink and is owned in London. And we have a photoshoot of one of them! Seriously, the level of perfection in Webb Bland’s work here is just amazing!
