Gentleman’s Racer – Aston Martin V8 Vantage on D2FORGED CV2 Wheels
We were told that our website lacks some Brittish taste. Maybe it does, we didn’t have too many articles describing some amazing car from the islands. So a couple of days ago, we decided that we have to change things around here. As it usually comes, at the same time I saw the latest creation from the hands of our talented photographer, Cristian Guamanzara and his Aston Martin V8 Vantage shoot he did for D2Forged Wheels.
In our opinion, no online catalogue or any showroom details can impress the customers better, than to see the wheels put on actual cars they were made of. We are lucky to have a few wheel companies, that are willing to show us their latest work as soon as it comes out!
So with this Aston Martin it was no different. Almost the minute this car got out of the D2Forged’s shop, it was photographed and we then started to work hard on bringing you these photos as soon as we can. Thankfully, our work revolves around looking at beautiful cars all day, so go figure.
As we were told, this car features the D2Forged CV2 wheels, that wouldn’t sit on the car properly, without it being lowered a bit. The wheels are 20×9.5″ with a 3.0” lip in the front, while 20×11″ with a 4.5” lip at the back.
The aero mods are done with a front splitter and rear diffuser, both made out of carbon fiber, thanks to RSC tuning. Overall a tasty and aggressive package to bring the car’s wild side even more to the front stage.
One of the editorial staff here on the site will be more than surprised when he sees the article, him being the Aston Martin fan that he is. Probably we will see some high quality widescreen wallpapers soon, there is no telling what true Brittish racing automotive fans are ready to do.
