Lancia Delta Integrale Photoshoot by Dario Carbone

Finally the legendary oldschool racing car is here! The Lancia Delta Integrale was probably one of the most dreamed cars for young boys during both the 80′s and 90′s. The legendary 4-wheel drive, combined with an amazing and powerful turbocharged engine, made this the car to drive if you wanted to go fast and look good at the same time. The Martini Racing stripes, the sound of the exhaust rumbling over the twisting mountain passes, it was all there. And when the car became available in the showrooms, it was sold in great numbers featuring a great success for the Italian auto maker.

You can probably say that this car got it’s legendary status for a number of things. Maybe because of its complete dominance of the rallying world for many successive years and partly because of the outraging looks of the Evoluzione models. When you saw it drive by, be it on a rally stage or in the city you weren’t left without some emotion running through you.

Did you know that all models where based on the original Lancia Delta that was designed by Giorgio Guigiaro in 1979 who managed to produce a remarkably time-resistend design. The chassis used was an evolution of the Fiat Ritmo’s.

This time we got lucky and we got a chance to show you some of the work from a very talented automotive photographer named Dario Carbone. His work mostly involves old school italian cars, as well as photography work on car meetings and different events of the same kind. In this photoshoot, the Lancia is at it’s home, in Italy. The shoot was done in italian city of Rome featuring modern urban surroundings.
