Grobnik Track Day – September Announcement
Good news for all of our track day fans out there! Once more, Grobnik Track Day is being organized near Rijeka, Croatia! For all of the people that enjoy a great weekend on a track somewhere, this is a great opportunity to take your favorite car, fuel it up and head over to Grobnik for an adrenaline filled day!
From cars announced on this weekend’s Track Day, the grid consists of vehicles like the Lotus Elise, Lotus Exige, BMW M5, BMW M3, Chevrolet Corvette, Nissan 370Z, Mitsubishi EVO X, Westfield XTR2, Westfield Megabusa and a few more. Quite a collection of track ready, powerful cars that will certainly pack a good punch on the race track!
One great thing about this track and complete racing event is there is no noise limitation! Yes, that is correct! Anything that is race ready, track prepared can access the track and do some proper driving! Only thing you need is a driving helmet, which is obligatory for any participant, pay the entrance fee and you are off for a great deal of fun!
Pricing is as follows: 1/4h is 30€, 1h is 70€, 2h is 90€ and 3h of driving on the track is 110€! Quite a bargain for an event like this! Also, you can bring along a co-driver, which will add only 15€ to the whole price of the event. For the insurance, it is included in the entrance fee and if you want to bring a co-driver, insurance for him is another 6€ for the complete day!
What is the best thing about this track? Besides the official time keeping, pit lane fuel service, tire service and close proximity to Rijeka where you can find almost any parts for your car, or grab a good lunch/dinner there is also a real abundance of five star hotels in the area. Grobnik Race Track is located right alongside the highway to Zagreb (Croatian capitol) and Italy, which makes it a great location for anyone visiting from Italy, Slovenia, Austria, Hungary or anything near those countries.
