Mercedes SLS AMG Black Series Confirmed

Motor Trend reports information that the Mercedes SLS AMG Black Series is confirmed by AMG officials. Member of the Board of Directors and Head of Vehicle Development for AMG, Tobias Moers, told Motor Trend “We absolutely have to do a Black Series SLS AMG”. Great news for SLS AMG fans everywhere!

This means that even more performance numbers and pretty much awesome version of the SLS AMG will hit the streets soon. When exactly, it wasn’t announced. For those who aren’t familiar, the Black Series usually includes performance oriented modifications on 2-door vehicles from the AMG range.

It includes weight reduction, bucket seats, exterior modifications like flared wheel arches, additional spoilers, diffusers, carbon fibre parts and such changes. List of Black Series models include SLK 55 AMG Black Series, CLK 63 AMG Black Series, SL 65 AMG Black Series, C 63 AMG Black Series and by the looks of it, the already mentioned SLS AMG Black Series.
