2013 SRT Viper GTS Launch Edition
More cool stuff coming to California! Quail Lodge and Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance play host to the limited-edition 2013 SRT Viper Launch Edition. An homage to the release colors of the last two Viper generations, the 2013 SRT Viper Launch Edition follows the same road its predecessors have taken.
Quite a distinctive mesh of body sprayed in GTS Blue, highlighted by a pair Bright White body-length stripes, all showcasing and pointing to what the previous Launch Edition’s were showcasing. A limited number of the Launch Edition Vipers will be available, with the SRT Viper and SRT Viper GTS following shortly thereafter.
Another distinctive element on this limited-edition model is the Stryker badge, prominent on the hood and steering wheel of the Launch Edition Viper, together with a serialized dash plaque will always remind its owners of the uniqueness their car has!
The Launch Edition Viper rolls on polished, forged aluminum five-spoke wheels, bringing back memories of the previous iterations of the coupe. The wheels were designed specifically with Viper enthusiasts in mind. Laguna leather with contrast stitching is found on the seats, door trim, IP, steering wheel, grab handle, shift knob and center console. Adding to the exclusivity is an Alcantara headliner.
“Designed with Viper loyalists in mind, the 2013 SRT Viper GTS Launch Edition model brings back the classic paint schemes that have adorned all previous Viper coupe launches to help us celebrate the return of our brand’s flagship performance machine to the supercar market,” said Ralph Gilles, President and CEO – Street and Racing Technology Brand and Motorsports and Senior Vice President – Product Design, Chrysler Group LLC. “Our American-built supercar showcases the very best we have to offer by incorporating superior craftsmanship, the finest materials, a host of new technologies and ergonomic improvements while respecting its focus on outright performance.”
There you have it boys and girls, the latest snake is out there and it’s exciting as ever! Who ever thought that Americans don’t have anything more to say in the supercar world were dead wrong! Now we just have to wait and see (and hear) this beast in public! Enjoy!
