BMW i8 Spyder Concept Will Come To L.A. Auto Show

BMWBlog is reporting that the BMW i8 Spyder Concept will come to L.A. Auto Show later this year. With rumors of a production date in 2015 this is certainly great news for the BMW fans and anyone who loves concept cars of this kind.

We’ll keep this short as we already talked about the BMW i8 Spyder Concept on a different occasion, but let’s just remind ourselves that the BMW i8 Spyder is a plug-in hybrid powered by an eDrive drivetrain combining a high-performance electric motor and a 1.5 liter three-cylinder petrol engine.

It weighs just 3,600lbs and gets to 100 km/h (62 mph) in five seconds with a top speed of 250 km/h (155 mph) reached with ease. The fuel consumption is what really amazes us! BMW rates it at just 3 liter per 100 km or 78 MPG for the imperial unit people. We can’t wait to see what BMW has install for us this November at the L.A. Auto Show!
