Panamera Sport Turismo Revealed!

Porsche performance and everyday practicality, Porsche presents it’s “sports car of tomorrow”, the Panamera Sport Turismo.

The Sport Turismo is apart of Porsche’s “e-hybrid” system, which in short is a plug in hybrid. The concept car cases a lithium-ion pack that can be charged quicker then my old Razor phone. Unlike my Razor the Sport Turismo also can charge the fluid cooled lithium-ion batter while driving and simultaneously crank up to 70+mph on pure electric power and with combined powered hitting that 0-60mph in under six seconds.

On top of the gone green details the car is loaded or as Porsche has explained “as little as possible and as much as necessary.” With a large central TFT color display that is positioned directly in front of the driver it will display navigation, tachometer, driving data and bank statements so you can see all the money your are saving gas … Ok maybe not bank statements but it will include two additional screens one to the left and right which will display feed from the exterior cameras located on each side mirror.

Don’t worry folks it’s a Porsche the features don’t stop there. Remember that time you lost your car in the parking lot and needed directions to find it, well with the Smartphone app that syncs with your car it’s possible and upon getting directions you can also use the climate control on the app to program what temperature you would like it when you eventually find the car.

Though you wont be finding the Sport Turismo on any car lots in the near future as we are still awaiting to hear if and when Porsche will be putting the concept car into production you can guarantee we will be covering it the moment the decision is made, until then check out photos of the unveiling at the Paris Motor Show.
